The explosive, entertaining, gritty and cutting edge radio presenter in the person of Maurice “E.K The Real Right” Flanders has been in the radio business since 2001. He got his start at Radio One under the guidance and training of Patrick “Quintessential” Queely and instantly became a force within the industry. Even though his time at Radio One was short lived, lasting just about twelve months he had all he needed to take his career to the next level and Sugar City Rock provided that platform from which to propel him even further. At Sugar City Rock his skills in producing, programming and presenting earned him national recognition as one of the premier radio presenters.

Apart from his talent and skills within the radio industry, E.K is also a gifted singer and performer who has won multiple karaoke competitions including the Regional Karaoke Championship. Along with his accomplishments in karaoke E.K has been lead vocalist for three of St. Kitts’ top bands. Most notable is his stint with the entertaining and energetic Small Axe Band. During his time with the Small Axe Band he travelled the world to various regional and international festivals performing his hits “Naughty Shauty” and “Party Like A West Indian.” Now at Freedom Fm the newest radio station in the federation E.K hopes that this venture will see his career reach even higher heights.

When asked to comment E.K remarked “I would like to thank the people of the federation and those from around the region for supporting me in my endeavors, those who offered a kind word and of course those who offered the criticism, they have all contributed to me being where I am today.”
