Zika-1The government of the USA through its Center for Diseas Control (CDC), is urging US citizens to take the necessary precautions against the Zika virus. In its latest travel advisory relayed via US media houses such as CBS, the US government alerts travelers particularly pregnant women to take precautions against infections.

Freedom Fm contacted the Former CMO, Dr Patrick Martin who said that once Carpha confirmed the cases of Zika in SKN, then there would be automatic full disclosure to the World Health Organization who in turn would inform its member nations.

Dr Martin further pointed out that such full disclosure would affect our tourism plant as tourists may change their travel plans to SKN because of Zika.
