The Timothy Hill Tunnel on the Southeast peninsula is scheduled to be opened to vehicular traffic from next week.
That information was released by director of Public Works, Mr George Gilbert.
Gilbert told local media that by Friday 13th May all work should be completed. Gilbert indicated that a local electrical firm was contracted to install lightings in the tunnel in time for the official opening ceremony on May 20, 2016. The Timothy Hill Tunnel was started in 2014 under the SKNLP administration and completed under the TUG.
