LONDON, England, Friday May 1, 2015 – The people have had their say, and three Caribbean-born superstars have been voted among FHM’s Sexiest Women in the World 2015.
Barbados’ pop princess Rihanna, Trinidad-born rap queen Nicki Minaj and Puerto Rico-born singer and actress Jennifer Lopez all earned their place in the FHM Sexiest supplement, which comes free with the magazine that hit the newsstands April 30th.
Capturing 23rd place, Rihanna narrowly edged out Nicole Scherzinger and Katy Perry (24 and 25, respectively), as well as streaking ahead of stars the likes of Miley Cyrus, Mila Kunis and Rita Ora, who placed 32nd, 44th and 46th.
In 78th place, Nicki Minaj twerked her way past bombshells including Cara Delevingne, Jourdan Dunn and Demi Lovato, while Jennifer Lopez, who took the 95th spot, inched out Lea Michele and put the likes of Jessie J in their place.
FHM’s Sexiest Woman in the World 2015 is British actress Michelle Keegan, who beat Kendall Jenner and Jennifer Lawrence to the top spot.
Keegan, 27, entered the list in 2010 at number 30, ranked second last year, and fourth in 2013.
She has just seen the last episode of her latest series, BBC One drama, Ordinary Lies air, and also has her own clothing collaboration with British high street clothing brand, Lipsy.
FHM editor Joe Barnes said: “Many congratulations to Michelle on her very worthy win. This year’s 100 Sexiest poll was more keenly contested than ever.
“We had over a million votes, which was truly incredible.”
Model, reality star and member of the famous Kardashian/Jenner clan, Kendall Jenner made her top 10 debut on the list in second place, up 29 places on last year, while last year’s winner, American actress Jennifer Lawrence, dropped two places to rank third.
Rounding off the top ten was Kelly Brook, who took the top honours in 2005 and is now the most featured Brit in the top 100 with 18 entries.
Meanwhile, it was a full house for the Kardashian/Jenner family. Hot on Kendall’s heels were the Kardashian sisters Kim at 13th followed by new entries for Khloe at 50 and sister Kourtney at 62.
Mary Berry celebrated her 80th year by making a surprise appearance at number 73, just one place behind Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie.
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini took one of the biggest slides this year, dropping a whopping 55 places to come in at 68.
