Statement by AU Brown

April 18, 2017 in National

My daughter Desi Brown (23) was attacked and robbed of her personal belongings this evening.

A young man armed with a gun approached her as she was about to enter her dance institute Poise SKN at Port Zante and demanded money.

She had none to give him and he attempted unsuccessfully to violate her. She stood up to him and fought off the bandit.

He ran away taking her personal effects. Despite this traumatic incident, Desi was not hurt physically.

It was only on February 13 that four thieves broke into my business place First Class Jewelry also located at Port Zante and stole hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of merchandise.

On October 14, 2015 gun men fired several bullets into my Sandy Point home and my car that was parked in the carport.

To date both crimes remain unsolved.
