The home of the Permanent Secretary of Health, Ms Ionie Liburd-Willett was burglarized on Friday and two computers have been stolen.
Speaking to Freedom Fm newsdesk on Saturday morning, the parliamentary representative for constituency #2 Marcella Liburd says it was very strange that it was only Liburd-Willett’s laptop, and electronic equipment that were stolen and nothing more.
PS Liburd-Willett was sent on vacation leave with immediate effect by letter from the Human Resources Department on Monday 7th November until the end of January 2017, when her 59 days of leave comes to an end.
Member of Parliament Liburd called on the police, and the Team Unity Government to investigate this matter as it was setting a dangerous precedent.
