FLORIDA, United States — A burglar reportedly broke into the Fort Lauderdale hotel room of popular comedian Keith ‘Shebada’ Ramsey last night and stole money and several important items including his passport.
Shebada was performing in Miramar with his crew, in their new comedy called “Bangarang,” when someone allegedly entered his hotel room.
“Someone was walking through the hallway checking room doors and his door was ajar and they went to his room and stole his passport, Social Security and his keys for his vehicle back home and his home,” entertainment consultant Garnett Newman told NBC 6.
The incident happened at a Ramada Inn in the area. Newman said the crime left Shebada troubled, but not for long. “You must embrace all your failures as you must embrace all your risings so when things like this happen you must go on and further your dreams,” Shebada told the news station.
