PremierVanceAmory+LaptopsReports emanating out of Charlestown Nevis confirm that Nevis Premier Hon.Vance Amory has today denied the federal government permission to distribute laptops to students of the Charlestown Secondary School(CSS) and the Gingerland High School(GSS).

The Federal government had communicated and made arrangements for this to be done today. When Foreign Affairs Minister, Hon. Patrice Nisbett, and Youth and Sports Minister, Hon Glen Ghost Phillips and their entourage went to CSS and met with Mr. Elliot they were told that Premier Vance Amory made it absolutely clear not to accept the 171 Laptops to be given to CSS and GSS because no one had informed him of this project initiative.

The federal ministers then asked to speak to Premier Vance Amory and were told he was in a meeting .The students of the CSS were standing in the school yard in anticipation of getting their laptops but were left extremely disappointed.

Meanwhile the students at the private high school Belle Vue International accepted their laptops with open arms.
