Opposition NRP Senator in the NIA, Honorable Carlisle Powell appearing on Tuesday’s edition of Issues on Freedom Fm is lamenting the fact that Nevisians have not benefited in a variety of ways since the CCM took the reins of power some 4 years ago. Powell referenced geothermal promises, education, tourism and health care as areas where the CCM led NIA have defaulted.
In particular Powell spoke to the issue of a failing health care system, in spite of SIDF funding, to facilitate the Alexandra Hospital expansion project.
With local elections constitutionally due in 2018, Powell is calling on Nevisians to be rationale and make the smart choice and vote for the NRP.
Powell highlighted that the NRP proposes rent-to-own housing revolution, remove the environmental levy and provide jobs, offer better electricity and water services and build brand new secondary schools.
