Freedom Fm has been reliably informed that while travelling via ferry between St Kitts and Nevis this morning Wednesday 28 December, someone took seriously ill while the boat was about 10-15 minutes out from the pier in Nevis having just passed the channel.
According to reports a white couple, tried desperately to save his life by administering CPR in vain as it is said that by the time the boat docked in Nevis the man had died.
Persons on the boat called the EMS service in Nevis which arrived some 10 minutes after the boat had docked.
It was reported that the EMS was on another emergency call before responding to the calls from the boat.
There are also reports that a Fire and Rescue services individual was on the boat bur refused to offer assistance to the dying man.
