MIAMI — As the Miami Heat front office was in the thick of it and making moves Thursday, star big man Chris Bosh remained sidelined with an illness.

Bosh was held out for a second straight day and went to see a doctor while the team practiced. He did travel with the team to New York for Friday’s game against the Knicks, and his status remains day to day.

Head coach Erik Spoelstra didn’t specify what was ailing Bosh, say only that he was under the weather.

Late Thursday, reports emerged that Bosh had been hospitalized with chest and lung pain and was undergoing tests.
