Grenada’s national budget in line with IMF agreement – PM Mitchell

GEORGE’S, Grenada, Nov 26, CMC – The Grenada government Wednesday presented an EC$1.15 billion (One EC dollar =US$0.37 cents) budget to Parliament with Prime Minister Dr. Keith Mitchell saying the fiscal “is consistent with our obligations set out” in the agreement reached with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

Earlier this year, Grenada entered into a US$21.9 million agreement with the IMF under the structural adjustment progarmme and Mitchell said that he would not be repeating the obligations set out with the Washington-based financial institution “except to reiterate that Grenada intends to meet its obligations under the programme.
