Clement “Bouncing” Williams comments on NIOSH report

Clement Bouncing Williams-1Renowned scientist Mr. Clement “Bouncing” Williams has said that he is not at all surprised by the findings reported by NIOSH. Speaking on Freedom Fm “Issues” Williams said that after the initial restoration work at the Basseterre High School campus the school was safe for occupation.

He explained that the recommendations from CARPHA and NIOSH are very similar. William called on the government to complete all refurbishment so that the school can be reoccupied shortly.

Williams noted that CARPHA did soil testing but NIOSH was of the view that testing needs to stop. He explained the testing process.

Williams explained how diseases are caused.

He spoke to the impact that the situation has had on the students in Basseterre.

Whilst, Former education minister Honorable Nigel Carty also speaking on Freedom Fm commented on the NIOSH report as well.

Carty took the government to task on withholding the findings by NIOSH from the public.

Honorable Marcella Liburd commended Mr. Clement Bouncing Williams and other scientists who had been victimised as a result to their finding on the Basseterre High School.

She called on the government to take leadership on this matter.
