Autopsy Reveals Browne Died From Shock and Hemorrhage in Auto Accident

The autopsy on Charles Ashliegh Browne, the man who was struck and killed by bus P8282, has been completed. According to that report death was as a result of severe thoractic shock, which caused hemorrhage and shock as a result of the accident.

Browne was walking to Basseterre around 4:45am on April 7th when he was struck by the bus which was travelling in the opposite direction.

The driver was taken into custody at the scene, which Browne succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The driver since then has been released without charge, while police continue their investigations.
