ATM Stolen From Vance Amory International Airport in Nevis

missing-atm-1Freedom Fm is reliably informed that thieves have stolen an ATM machine from the Airport in Nevis.

According to reports the entire machine was taken with the cash intact on Tuesday night.

Freedom Fm understands that on the night of the ATM robbery two security officers were on duty. One officer at the time was on the apron. Other officer was inside the terminal building.

According to reports CCTV cameras would have shown that there were five masked men. Further it is alleged that the ATM at the airport was not bolted down but had wheels instead making it easier for the bandits to wheel the ATM away.

Meanwhile on Tuesday night an attempt was made to break into the ATM machine located near to the TDC Building supplies on the Frigate Bay road.

Police are currently investigating these matters.
