Young Professionals Speak to CEMSS Youth About Positive Living

CEMSS-PEPTalkPresident of Operation Future Lauston Percival took a team of young,professional entertainers to the Charles Mills High School on Wednesday morning in an attempt to continue the dialogue with the federation’s youth.

As part of the continued efforts to address Youth crime and Violence, the members of Operation Future teamed up with local Dj’s/ radio personalities and Mr Mention of the Sugar Band Int and visitied the Charles E Mills Secondary School on Wednesday 15 Oct 2014 @ 8 30 am with a session called ” Lets Talk”Percival told Freedom Fm that these music and radio personalities would be able to get the positive message out to the youth concerning issues that teenagers face in and out of school.

Freedom Fm radio personality Michelle “Sweet Sister Sensia”Stokes,a favourite with young people,looked at some of the social problems and challenges faced by youth growing up..
Popular Nu Vybes band leader Gregory “Mention” Hobson encouraged the youth to commit to doing positive things with their lives regardless of the negatives surrounding you.

Freedom Fm radio personality and talk show host Maurice EK Flanders said that getting an education should be the focus of the youth in school and not the stuff that would derail your character and life.
