YOUNG ATHLETE SHOT ON THE STRIP

man shot-1Freedom Fm has been reliably informed of a shooting incident at the Strip at Frigate Bay early Monday morning A young athlete is presently warded on the surgical ward of the J.N. France Hospital after being shot in the neck.

Timoy Henry, a Shadwell resident, aged 27, was injured in the shooting incident. Hospital sources indicate that the young man is alert and able to communicate despite being shot in the neck.Henry, a mid-distance runner, was scheduled to represent the Federation in the OECS Championships in the BVI this coming weekend.

Police officials are yet to issue a press release on this as well as the break ins of automobiles(whose tires were also slashed) parked in the VIP section on the last night of the 2016 SKMF, or the spate of robberies which occurred in St Kitts on the nights of the music festival.
