KINGSTON, Jamaica – A young woman was this morning taken before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court for allegedly touching a man on his penis.
The woman was recently arrested and charged with indecent assault following an alleged altercation between her and the complainant at a popular strip club in New Kingston.
However, when the accused appeared in court this morning, she pleaded not guilty while laughing and was admonished for doing so by Senior Magistrate Judith Pusey.
“It might sound funny now, but it won’t be that funny when you get to trial,” the magistrate told the accused.
Resident Magistrate Pusey then asked the complainant how he met the accused and he said that she was the owner of a club that he frequents.
The accused woman’s bail was then extended and the matter was set for trial on May 7.
