ST. LUCIA- Police are investigating the death of 31-year-old American doctor, Samyca Harris Edwin, who died following a hike to the world famous Pitons here on Sunday.
Media reports inducate that Dr. Edwin, who was accompanied by her St. Lucia-born husband Dr. Micah Edwin, experienced difficulties during the trip. The reports said that her husband had administered assistance, but she later succumbed.
A post mortem examination is scheduled for Wednesday.
