Although the Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Hon. Dr. Timothy Harris has denied any knowledge of the resignation of Police Commissioner Dr. CG Walwyn, Freedom
FM has received confirmation that the Top Cop has tendered his resignation taking effect as of Friday 27th March, 2015.
Speculations have been rampant as to whether or not Walwyn will serve under the new Team Unity Administration. While in opposition the Team Unity Alliance has openly taken Walwyn to task on a number of issues.
In a recent interview with Freedom Fm Walwyn disclosed that while his contract said that he was in charge of the force he was not sure of his status in the force.
There has been rumor indicating that Walwyn’s contract was not renewed last year but whilst on Freedom fm Walwyn said that those rumors were false.
