Human Resource Management Department wishes to invite suitably qualified individuals to apply to fill the post of Senior Crown Counsel.

The successful candidate will function under the Director of Public Prosecution and will be responsible for matters including: prosecution of criminal matters in court; advising the police on criminal matters and to review case files submitted by the prosecution; advising government in criminal matters; and providing training, guidance and support in relation to criminal and quasi-criminal matters.

Candidates must possess a Bachelors of Law Degree and the Legal Education Certificate from a law school within the Commonwealth. They should also be a Barrister-at-Law and have seven years experience at the bar in a Commonwealth jurisdiction as well as extensive experience in criminal prosecution and knowledge of legal principles, practices and proceedings.
