Freedom Fm has learnt of the passing of Reginald Amory, one of the successful Amory brothers, who passed away in Canada on Tuesday.

61 year old Reggie Amory was a humble yet focused businessman who deeply loved his family members.

In an interview done with Precious Mills 5 years ago ,Reggie indicated that “His father was the founder of the 1949-established American Bakery, a company of Amory Enterprises, which is owned and operated by Mr. Amory and his brother, Ernest.

While growing up, Mr. Amory observed that his father enjoyed running his business and realised it was something he should look into.

Mr. Amory describes his brother, Ernest, the other owner of the company, as his “best friend.” “Family should be your best friend because the thing is when everyone is gone, who do you have? Your family; and they are not around forever so you make sure that you enjoy them. You tell them that you love them because there is no question, no doubt, that one day each of us is going to depart this earth. Enjoy each other,” he admonished.

Mr. Amory grew up in Greenlands, Basseterre and for some time on Central Street.

He holds an Associate Degree in food services, which he attained from Oklahoma State University, where he also did courses in computer science and business. His educational background includes a course in web design at Dalhousie University in Canada back in 1995.”
