Is there a crack in the Team Unity arrangement?
Prime Minister Dr Timothy Harris says despite comments made by the diverse parties and organizations representing Team Unity, the family remains intact. Speaking to a local reporter at his recent press conference, Prime Minister Harris maintained that all is well within Unity as the movement allows for diversity of opinion and harsh words.
In recent weeks, operation rescue Dwyer Astaphan, former PAM Chairman Chesley Hamilton, former Press Secretary Clecton Phillip and Team Unity activist Terry Adams have all taken Team Unity to task for unfulfilled promises, lack of transparency and good governance.
Meanwhile former Prime Minister Dr Denzil Douglas speaking on local radio said he had warned the country that the Team Unity Government was not advancing the welfare of the ordinary people. Dr Douglas reiterated that the coalition government had stifled the development of the country.
