Police are seeking the assistance of the public in gathering information that could lead to the arrest of persons involved in an armed robbery that occurred in the McKnight area on Friday, February 16, 2018.
On Friday, Police responded to a report of a robbery in process at the Best Buy Grocery Supermarket which is located on the corner of Shaw Avenue and Central Street in Basseterre. Investigations so far have revealed that at about 9:40 a.m. a gunman entered the supermarket and robbed the cashier at gunpoint of a sum of money. No one was injured during the incident.
