The main opposition party, the People’s Action Movement, is facing an expensive claim made against it by a Barbados-based company.

In a letter dated 20th January 2015, Barbadian Attorney at Law, Hon. Kerrie Symmonds, wrote to the Leader of PAM, Hon. Shawn Richards, on behalf of clients Buzz Maker LLC, insisting that PAM make full payment of $78, 021.65 for services rendered to the Party in the run up to the 2010 elections.

Symmonds’ letter indicated that if payment was not made by Friday 6th February, 2015, legal proceedings would be started to recover the overdue amount.

Among the services the agreement included were a website engagement, content management for the PAM website, email blasts, blog creation and social media management.
