Officers of the Basseterre Police Station, Violent Crime Unit, Crime Scene Unit, Delta Squad and K-9 Unit responded to a shooting incident at Ponds Pasture about 12:39 PM today (Monday 3 November 2014). The injured person, Lincoln Liburd alias “Markie” was transported to the hospital, but refuses to state who shot him.
Anyone who has any information pertaining to this incident is asked to call the Violent Crime Unit at 467-1887 or 467-1888, the nearest police station, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477 (TIPS). Remember, you do not have to provide your personal information and you maybe eligible to receive a reward.
