January 18, 2018 in National

The traffic lights on the Bay road, at the junction of Fort Street and Cayon Street, and on Bakers corner were given a try out today under the supervision of Inspector Carl Caines of the Traffic Depàrtment.

A curious crowd gathered at each venue to observe the workings of the lights and the pedestrian walk signals.

Freedom Fm spoke to Inspector Caines who indicated that it was “just a trial” and that the lights would become operational when government enacts the necessary legislation to support the introduction of the traffic lights system to St Kitts-Nevis.
