National Carnival Chairman Noah Mills says Edwards was in Restricted Area and was Politely Asked to Leave

National Carnival Chairman Noah Mills gave his side of the story to Freedom Fm Newsdesk on Friday morning, concerning the ejection of Veteran Broadcaster/Calypsonian Conse “Lord Black” Edwards from ZIZ broadcasting booth during the Calypso Finals on Thursday night.

Mills told Freedom Fm that Edwards was not part of the comments team chosen to do the Calypso Finals and was in a restricted area and was politely asked to leave.

Mills told Freedom that Edwards refused to cooperate and left him with no alternative but to get assistance from the police in having him removed from the booth.

Mills denied that Edwards was on any list of “undesirable persons” sent by the National Carnival Committee to ZIZ for coverage of the Senior Calypso Finals Event.
