Member of Parliament for Constituency #2 Honorable Marcella Liburd says a High Court ruling on Wednesday favored the Nigerian students’ right to vote in elections and has struck down an application filed by the law firm of Grant and Powell.

According to Liburd the Law Firm applied to the Court for Judicial Review asking that Nigerians not be allowed to vote or be registered and for an order removing all Commonwealth students from the voters list.

An application was filed on behalf of the Nigerian students to strike down that claim, says MP Liburd.
