Popular Freedom Fm DJ/Broadcaster/Entertainer Michelle “Sweet Sister Sensia” is being honored by the Ministry of Gender affairs celebration of International Women’s Day on Thursday.
Michelle will receive an award in the area of Media/Entertainment and is being recognized for her sterling and pioneering work in broadcasting and DJ entertainment.
Michelle who has worked at Freedom Fm for the past 8 years, is well known for her popular radio programs for children and young people, including “From a Man’s Point of View”, “Homegrown Thursdays”, and the Saturday Children’s program from midday.
Michelle has also achieved local, regional and international attention and acclaim as a versatile female DJ spanning over 20 years.
Freedom Fm spoke to Michelle about receiving this prestigious award.
