Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 17, 2016 (RSCNPF): Chad Williams of Central Street has been arrested, formally charged and cautioned on two warrants in the first Instance for the offence of of Attempted Murder. Williams is also charged with one (1) count of Shooting at With Intent.
The charges stem from a shooting incident on Friday (May 13) on Cayon Street. Reports were that three young men were walking along Cayon Street heading in the direction of Uncle Tâs when two gunmen opened fire on them and gave chase. As a result two men– Tissan Williams of Camps Village and Lashawn Wilkes, also of Camps, received non life threatening gunshot wounds and were hospitalized.
Police announced they were looking for two named suspects, one of which was taken into custody on Saturday
