SL Horsford Auto Showroom at the Horsford Complex is still recovering after a crazed man began destroying vehicles in and out of the Horsford Automotive Center Showroom on Friday.
Police were called to the scene as the individual went on a rampage smashing vehicles with a metal pipe. Freedom Fm has learnt that the individual identified as “Earl” from Newton Ground has had mental issues in recent months. Reports are that just before 10 o’clock on Friday, the said individual went to Horsford Auto but was refused entrance, as they had problems with him earlier in the week.
The man then proceeded to break windshields and at least 2 new SUV’s and 2 used vehicles were damaged in the mayhem. The man was subsequently forcefully controlled and overpowered by Horsford employees until the police arrived and took him into custody.
Freedom fm understands that the man is now being treated at JNF psychiatric ward, while Horsford continues to assess the damage done to their vehicles.
