The Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 114-106 Thursday night at the Moda Center in a rematch of the first round of the 2016 Western Conference playoffs.
Blake Griffin finished with 27 points and 13 rebounds and Chris Paul added 27 points, five assists and five rebounds for the Clippers (1-0), who were playing their first game of the season.
Damian Lillard recorded 29 points and 10 rebounds and Moe Harkless had 23 points and eight rebounds for the Blazers (1-1).
The Clippers’ bench outscored the Blazers’ bench 43-20.
