Member of Parliament for Constituency #2 Honorable Marcella Liburd is calling out the Supervisor of Elections Elvin Bailey, for what she says is a growing list of violations with regards to the functioning of the Electoral Office. Liburd in a recent statement said there is no publication of the monthly revised list in some months. Liburd said the the St. Kitts Nevis Labor Party had written to the Supervisor about this matter, but his response had been that what was requested by the the St. Kitts Nevis Labor Party, he as Supervisor was not legally obliged to give them.

Liburd said under the Electoral Act, the Supervisor was obliged to publish monthly revised lists but was part of the Team Unity Government plan to manipulate and subvert the electoral process.

Liburd further revealed that persons were being turned back from being registered and are being told that computers are not working in an effort to frustrate them. Liburd said the St. Kitts Nevis Labor Party had further requested that they be allowed to look at the Objections Register in an effort to see the persons who were being objected to, as they were by being told that they could not register as they were Commonwealth citizens and not from St. Kitts-Nevis.

Liburd said persons were being deliberately frustrated and marginalised by the process.
