The 2016 New Years GALA under the distinguished patronage of the Leader of the Opposition, The Right Honorable Dr. Denzil Douglas, has been labeled as the signature New Year’s Event for 2016.
At 8pm, the former Prime Minister, and Leader of the St. Kitts – Nevis Labour Party, was host to many more patrons than the new PM could muster at his inaugural GALA.
The PM Gala of PM Harris attracted some 5oo persons according to information released on the Times Caribbean Unity friendly online media service. But at the gala put on by the Opposition leader, there was only standing room available for the many who sort to purchase tickets on arrival at the Marriott Ballroom Dec 3 Gala.
The guest speaker for the evening’s proceedings was Kittitian born Randolph Bennett. KC5, German born songstress Ama Martin, and Jamaican comedian Andrea Hutchinson provided entertainment. The event was chaired by Diane Humphreys and Juni Liburd.
