(CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS)- Wayne ‘Squaddan’ Ferlance of Mount Lily became the latest victim of gun violence in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis in the wee hours of this morning, Monday, May 18, 2015.

News reaching this media house indicates that at about 4:00 a.m. Ferlance was attacked at his Mount Lily residence when gunmen invaded his home and opened fire on him. It was reported that he was shot numerous times while in the presence of his young daughter. His pregnant girlfriend was in another room at the time of the incident.

Ferlance, who is said to be in his late 30s, had escaped the wrath of gun violence in 2014 when he was shot in his mouth at Enrique’s Night Club in February of that year.

Then, in January of this year, Ferlance was once again targeted when unknown assailant(s) fired a number of shots at his home while he was inside. That incident took place at around 7:00 a.m.

The killing of Ferlance marks the fifth murder for the year 2015.
