Freedom Fm has been reliably informed by one of the owners of Fraites & Sons Bakery, that one of the bread delivery vans was held up and robbed early Wednesday morning.
Speaking to Freedom Fm on Wednesday Mr. Fraites informed that sometime after 4am, he received a call indicating that the van was robbed in Saddlers during a delivery by an armed robber.
The armed bandit escaped with the “money bag”. A distraught Mr. Fraites told Freedom Fm that this robbery is very disturbing and hoped that the perpetrator would swiftly be brought to justice.
This is the second time for the month that Fraites has been targeted and robbed. Back on October 7th, the popular rural bakery was held up and robbed by an armed bandit who also escaped and took all the proceeds from a vault at the Bakery.
Police investigations into this recent robbery are ongoing.
