Former Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis Dr. Denzil Douglas on Wednesday’s edition of Freedom talk reiterated his claims that the Dr. Timothy Harris Team Unity Administration was victimizing SKNLP supporters who work for government. Dr. Douglas charges that public servants have been chased out of their offices, had their personal effects searched, been sent home and asked to resign.

Dr. Douglas further indicated that former government ministers had not been paid; that contractors on SIDF financed projects especially at the Capisterre Farm had has their salaries interrupted.

Meanwhile the former Prime Minister also took issue with the continued closure of the Electoral Office. Since last week Thursday, electoral office workers have been locked out with no indication when they should return. Dr. Douglas charged the Prime Minister Harris was creating unnecessary fears and tensions throughout the civil service.

However Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris in a recent interview on public radio dismissed charges of victimization saying that exercises conducted by the police was to restore peace and a sense of security.
