Female Helicopter Pilot on Cocaine Charges

female pilot-1PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad, Thursday July 28, 2016 – A female Bristow Caribbean Limited pilot has been charged following the discovery of TT$1.3 million (US$194,080) worth of cocaine in her home.

Lawmen acted on a tip-off and executed a search warrant at the Diego Martin residence of Tonya d’Almada and found the drugs.

She appeared in court yesterday and was granted TT$500,000 (US$74,646) bail and ordered to reappear in court today.

Her court appearance came three days after the drugs were found.
