SKNLP MP for Constituency #2 Marcella Liburd is calling on the Team Unity Government led by Prime Minister Dr Timothy Harris to “ease the squeeze” on the lower income ordinary workers of the Federation.
Speaking at a massive Labour Party meeting in Trafalgar Village Thursday night, Liburd rhetorically called on Prime Minister Harris to ease the squeeze on the majority of working class people, who continue to see hard times under an oppressive government according to Liburd.
Liburd highlighted a number of areas such as the PEP, REACH increased taxes and licensing fees where the Team Unity government was bringing further hardships and suffering on the backs of the poor.
Liburd called on all workers in the Federation to come out in their numbers and march on Labor Day to demonstrate their dissatisfaction with the Team Unity Administration.
