keep calm-1BASSETERRE – With the people of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela experiencing harsh economic times, a call has been made for the Prime Minister of St Kitts ad Nevis Dr Timothy Harris to lend a financial helping hand.

“We need to step up to the plate as a country and help Venezuela. I am asking this government that took US$16 million and a further US$5 million from Venezuela last year to return some of the money to relieve some of the suffering of the Venezuelan people,” said Dr Drew, who noted that Harris was “robbing the poor Venezuelans when he took that money last year while they were already experiencing harsh economic times.”

Dr Drew pointed out that since the crisis in Venezuela has become so severe he has not heard one word from Prime Minister Harris or a member of his TUG administration.
