douglas-1Former Prime Minister of St. Kitts-Nevis, Dr Denzil Douglas has called for “loud and clear protest action that can be seen and heard by the Team Unity Government, so that they can amend their ways.”

The Opposition Leader made the call on Wednesday’s edition of “Issues” on Freedom Fm. Dr Douglas says this protest action was needed in light of what he termed deception which he says characterizes the government of Dr Timothy Harris.

Dr Douglas said he has been denied access to state owned radio and television, ZIZ Broadcasting Cooperation, although the Team Unity Government had pledged to open ZIZ to all sides.

He further revealed that some of the $40 million dollars had been acquired by the Team Unity Government from social security board to facilitate housing.

There is a call for a full scale inquiry into this matter said Dr Douglas as it is alleged that one of the partners involved in building these houses, is a member of the Harris’ family.

Dr Douglas said the chairperson of the Social Security Board had resigned because of this matter.
