douglas and parry-1Did the SKNLP/NRP coalition in the last general election lead to the defeat and rejection of the Nevis Reformation Party (NRP) by Nevisians at the February General election? That was the question posed by Freedom Fm’s Issues host, Maurice”EK” Flaunders to guest Henseley Daniel on Tuesday’s edition.

It was said in some circles that the NRP sold out to Dr. Denzil Douglas Labour Party which in the process denied Nevisians of their fair share. The former Deputy Premier in the NRP led NIA said the NRP decision to partner with the SKNLP was in the interest of St.Kitts and Nevis.

Daniel reiterated that the decision to collaborate with the Labour Party was to lift Nevis out of a level of under-development that would empower the small man and sustain a higher level of social and economic development in the country.

Once we establish the fact that performance matters, then that is the guide post to ensure Nevisians and Kittitians attain the standard of living vital to their overall success, said Daniel.
