Deputy Prime Minister Richards says PAM committed to good Governance

ShawnRichards-1Deputy Prime Minister & Leader of the People’s Action Movement, the Honorable Shawn Richards told officials and supporters of the PAM at Sunday’s Convention that his party was committed to bringing about electoral reform and other aspects of good governance.

Richards said the most meaningful to safeguard democracy is through good governance.

Richards insisted that electoral reform was a dire necessity, and committed the PAM to implementing such changes before the next general elections in 2020.

Richards pointed out that the promises of integrity in public life, term limits and the freedom of information act must also continue to receive the attention of the PAM, who would ensure that the unity government continues along this path that is being demanded by the supporters of the PAM.
