Former Minister of Education and Information in the last SKNLP Government Nigel Carty said teachers are fully committed to the teaching of our children and contribute significantly to the nation’s development.
The SKNLP Senator said that in spite of advances made by teachers over the years, they are still not highly paid and work for the love of teaching.
Carty said teachers provide guidance and fundamental supervision of our youth.
He commended teachers who had made teaching a commitment and a lifelong career in helping our youths to develop well rounded attributes.
He said that was the greatest sacrifice that teachers have made.
Carty also recalled teachers who had impacted our lives.
