PMHarris+Dwyer-1Operation Rescue Founder and former government minister Dwyer Astaphan continues to severely criticize the new Unity Government for Inaction. On Tuesday night the call to remove certain individuals from public office was made on Astaphan’s radio show and among them the GG Sir Edmund Lawrence; Patrick Wallace the Defence Force Commander; Wendell Lawrence at the SIDF; Alexis Woodley at the Dubai Consulate; a female civil servant who allegedly has refused to meet with a new Unity government minister, and who has responsibility for marketing a major housing development.

Earlier last week, Mr. Astaphan called for the government to address concerns about civil servants who are supporters of the former administration, frustrating the efforts of the new governments.
“Replace whether by way of repositioning, putting them on leave, retiring them or yes, dismissing them, if appropriate,” he advised on his radio program on Winn Fm.

The former minister turned talk show host said after 2 months of Team Unity there has been no investigation or analysis into the fiscal situation of the country and the finances of SIDF and the CBI program. He called on government to get pro active and deal with those individuals who make big salaries to do nothing.

The government will not allow its mandate to be undermined said Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris, speaking to Winn Fm. The Prime Minister was responding Friday, to comments from Operation Rescue co-founder and supporter of Harris Unity Government Dwyer Astaphan. Earlier last week, Mr. Astaphan called for the government to address concerns about civil servants who are supporters of the former administration, frustrating the efforts of the new governments
“We are not being naive, we’re not being simplistic…in terms of the fact that if people are of ill will and bad-minded, that they can in fact, attempt to pursue actions to sabotage the government, and I’ve made no apology to saying that some of those persons will be repositioned, and will be moved and that we will do all that we…can to preserve the mandate.”
