Hon. Dr. Timothy Harris, Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis during a recent national address.

Curfew measures continue in St. Kitts and Nevis through to May 23rd, according to a proclamation by Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris in an address on Thursday night (May 7)  as the present measures expire on May 9.

Under the new order, Statutory Rules and Order 16 of 2020, curfew measures will be shortened while more days of partial curfews have been considered, although weekends remain 24 hour curfew days.

With mounting concerns from the religious community, some saying that churches should be allowed to congregate while adhering to the recommended CoVID-19 protocols, the prime minister said that discussions continue with no fixed date mentioned. Beaches will be available to the public but for a limited 4 hour period.
