Youth Beat on Wednesday 15th hosted by Markysa O’Loughlin with the first focus on young people in business featured Ms Ralsia Glasgow. Ralsia is the owner of Hickies Beauty Parlor situated in Sandy Point. Hickies Beauty Parlor specializes in hairstyling, make up artistry and sells Victoria Secrets supplies. Ms Glasgow referred to her business as a “Beauty Heaven”.
Ms Glasgow proclaimed that she has always wanted a business of her own because of the inspiration from her father “Tango”. You may find the business on facebook as Hickies Beauty Parlor or contact Ralsia at 764-2117. The business also takes walk ins and is open from Tuesday to Sunday at 10am.
The clientele is based mainly from individuals that the hairstylists know and from the community individuals. In closing Ms Glasgow thanked her family and friend for the motivation and the support that they have given to her.
