St Kitts Nevis Labour Party Chairperson, Hon Marcella Liburd has again called on Civil Society to speak out against what she feels has been wanton victimization by the new Team Unity Government. Speaking on Freedom Fm’s Issues on Tuesday, Liburd said what has happened since the elections is an indictment again the new government from day one.

She explained that persons who have gone to the Nation Housing Co Operation ( NHC) to pay for houses or land have been told that the NHC will not accept payments until further notice. Liburd indicated that while some review is necessary the process that the new team unity government has chosen is severely flawed.

Liburd said the list of persons who have been victimized grows daily.
