Meanwhile murder #21 took place in Nevis “high day” Monday. Freedom fm is reliably informed that a Nevis businessman 50 year old Gary Claxton of Stoney Grove, Nevis, was shot to death in the Paradise/Jessups Beach area of Nevis earlier today.
The shooting occurred sometime around 2:30pm. Claxton is a known sponsor of sport and community events and is said to have been robbed and beaten in the past. Claxton’s killing came just a few hours after 22-year-old Clevaughn Berkley was gunned down in St. Johnston’s Village, St. Kitts. The Federation’s murder toll for 2016 now stands at 21.
